“The Punisher” is a brutal, unconventional, and entertaining series. I mostly enjoyed this series because of the fun action sequences and Jon Bernthal’s lead performance. His character is complex and great on screen. I will say that the first season of the show is slightly stronger than the second. The second season suffers from too much going on and less interesting storylines. However, all in all, it is a very entertaining series that fans of the Marvel Netflix originals will enjoy. I think it could have benefitted from more seasons, but I felt the story has some closure, which is nice considering its abrupt cancellation.
