Daredevil (2015-2018)

Seeing such a stunning and entertaining show such as “Daredevil” go through a cancellation is truly disheartening. I was entertained by this series the whole way through and felt it only got better and better as it progressed. The show’s greatest strengths are its complex and interesting characters and mesmerizing fight sequences. The performances are all top notch and everyone does a great job creating characters you empathize with and genuinely care about. Charlie Cox is fantastic in the lead role and Vincent D’Onofrio is superbly menacing as the show’s central villain. I cannot praise the fight sequences in the series enough, they are well choreographed and shot to perfection and took my breath away. This show is proof that superhero stories can be just as engrossing and entertaining on the small screen as they are on the big screen. I’ve been watching a select few of the Netflix collection of Marvel series, and this one is definitely my favorite of the bunch.

4.5/5 STARS
