“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is a wonderfully quirky and consistently hilarious series that kept a big smile on my face. I think every season is solid fun and it builds up to a laugh out loud funny and heartfelt final season. The show just works because it is aware of how over the top its premise is and because all of the characters are so different and hilarious. Ellie Kemper in the lead role is instantly likable and her character is hilariously oblivious to everything. All of the additional characters in the show had me laughing hard as well and felt very original. Along with the great performances and characters its the jokes and dialogue that make a show like this work. It’s a bright, positive, and funny series that if you haven’t seen yet, you can easily binge through in a matter of weeks because it is just so fun and watchable.
