“Far Cry 6” sticks to a lot of the franchise’s formula elements, but they still work. I haven’t finished the game’s main story in its entirety, because I am pretty certain I encountered some kind of bug. Luckily it tells me the completion at the menu and I have completed over 90% of it, so I feel like I can talk about what the game has to offer and maybe try to sort out this technical issue later. The game has everything a game from this series usually does include big over-the-top action, a big eccentric villain, and a giant world that is consistently alive and intense. I was really enjoying the game and it’s too bad I ran into a mission that seemed to be glitching. I also think the story was just a pretty standard revolution story and think some of the other entries were more engaging in that aspect. Besides that, this game is a lot of fun and franchise fans should definitely give it a try and enjoy it for what it is.
