“Hogwarts Legacy” has been my most anticipated game for a long time. The game met my expectations in a variety of ways. As a lifelong “Harry Potter” fan, this is the type of game I have always wanted. I enjoyed the combat in the game and thought the open world and RPG elements were a lot of fun. I finished the main story as well as a variety of side quests. The game has more to do even now, but I think I have reached a moment where I can pause playing and fairly evaluate it. The story isn’t necessarily among the best but this is one of those rare cases for me where that doesn’t really matter. The gameplay is so fun and fulfills the itch I have had my whole life that I can’t see myself calling this anything but a perfect game. Overall, if you’re a fan of this world, this game is a dream come true and one of the most entertaining games in general from recent memory.
