“The Sinner” started out with a great first season that really showed promise for a solid anthology series. I felt like while every season was good, it is a show that continually gets worse and worse. I think the first two seasons were the strongest and the last two were pretty messy. Every season presents an interesting enough mystery but the big revelations are really only impressive in the first season because they genuinely feel surprising and earned. Overall, it is a solid series for mystery thriller fans but if you want to save some time, I would just recommend watching the first season.
