“Good Girls” isn’t the most consistent series, but it is still a solid watch. I think the show shines with the 3 main lead actresses and how well they portray the characters. I liked the first two seasons quite a bit even though the show doesn’t really strive for much realism. I thought it had a good mix of comedy and drama in those seasons. I feel like from the third season onwards there is a shift where it is just trying to be a drama and sometimes it feels oddly dark and bleak. I think the fourth season was a bit better since at that point it fully committed to being a crime drama series. I do feel bad for shows that are abruptly canceled like this one was, but it honestly was reaching a point where it became repetitive and really needed to wrap up. Overall, the series is a good time, and while not my particular favorite, was a solid watch.
