The representation of Desi-Americans in “Ms. Marvel” is obviously something I am very happy to see. The show is charming enough and has plenty of fun moments. I think Iman Vellani is a perfect fit for the character. My main issue with the series is how rushed it feels. I feel like towards the end it really tries to wrap up quickly and then it’s just over. I think it could benefit from a second season, but at the very least we can see the character again. It is definitely very light Marvel fare but I think it will appeal to a younger audience more than anything. Overall, it isn’t my personal favorite of the MCU, but it is a cute and enjoyable series that I still liked watching.
