“God of War” is epic in scope and exhilarating in its gameplay. Having never played any games featuring this character, I think this is still a great game to introduce me to this world. The story is engaging enough and the gameplay is a lot of fun. I admittedly reduced the difficulty after the second boss fight, so I can safely say there is also plenty here for challenge seekers, but a fair experience for those interested in the story like myself. I feel like the story is a lot of setup for a future sequel and isn’t good enough for me to get hooked to the game at any point, but still very good. I think the game shines in its action scenes and fights and I am glad I checked it out. Overall, it is a very good game that is an awesome addition to any PlayStation owner’s library.
