I think Ali Wong is a very solid comedian. Her style of comedy is enjoyable to watch and the execution of jokes is designed to create discomfort. I do feel that her latest special isn’t quite as memorable as the others on Netflix. I felt a lot of the jokes in this one felt a bit repetitive. I still thought it was fairly funny but I think she has a lot to say and it would have been cool to see her explore even more topics. Despite this, I think fans of her work like myself can find plenty to appreciate in this special and I’d still watch more from her as she creates more content.
