I had an absolute blast binge-watching “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” recently. This is a heartfelt and charming series with a terrific premise. It’s a complete shame that it was canceled and I really do hope it is saved by another network or streaming service because there can certainly be more story here. Nonetheless, what is available are two consistent seasons of television that are a lot of fun because of the musical numbers but memorable because of the wonderful characters. Jane Levy is completely lovable in the lead role but all the other actors also do impressive jobs. This show has humor and heart and is just pleasant to watch all the way through. It’s a bright spot in feel-good television that deserves a chance to continue its story.
