“Dopesick” is more terrifying than any horror movie or series I have seen any time recently. This series is a tough one to watch and at times it is infuriating because of how despicable some actions portrayed are. The story is told in a compelling way and all of the actors involved do a superb job. The miniseries format really works for this story and I was engaged all the way through. As difficult as it can be to watch, it is the harsh reality of events that transpired not all that long ago and still affect the world today, so I would say it is an essential series to watch. Overall, this is a top-notch series from Hulu and I would go as far as to call it one of the best and most important television series of the year.
