Cowboy Bebop (Anime)

With a live-action version of “Cowboy Bebop” on the horizon, I decided to check out the classic series as a part of my anime journey. This series is truly a testament to how creative anime can be as an art form. It is a true blend of multiple genres that never fully commits to being one thing but in a good way. The series has a unique feel because every episode is a new adventure, and there aren’t many story arcs. I liked the characters in the show and the episodes where we were given the chance to learn more about them and their backstories, which I was fascinated by. The show is a lot of fun and one of the most well-known anime series. I wouldn’t call it one of my favorites, as it doesn’t really have the same binge-worthy quality some others do, but I can appreciate what it did in terms of influence. Overall, this is a very solid series that has a select few episodes that are outstanding and a lot of others that are at least good.
