“Midnight Mass” is often unsettling and disturbing from a horror standpoint, but it’s the series’ big ideas that’ll stick with me more than anything else. This series is consistently creepy but it kept me watching with its central mystery. The performances are great all around and I found myself very interested in the conversations the characters would have. The series is very dialogue heavy and this will test the patience of mainstream viewers, but those willing to watch the entire series will be rewarded with a unique horror drama that challenges us to think consistently. Overall, this is a great series from Mike Flanagan who continues to prove his dominance in the horror genre yet again.
