“It’s a Sin” is a very realistic and heartfelt series that I almost missed out on. I was browsing different shows from 2021, and this one had some strong reviews. After watching it, it is easy to see why. I thought this series showcases an important topic and was told with authenticity and strong performances. I think it takes a few episodes to really take off, but I was fairly invested all the way through. The characters kept me invested and it led to multiple moments that were very emotional. I also thought the visual style of the series makes it more enjoyable to watch and the addition of some lighter moments keeps the show from being constantly heavy. Overall, it is a first-rate miniseries that is sure to deeply touch anyone who takes the time to watch it.
