“Far Cry 5” is a tremendously entertaining entry in the franchise. This game fixed a lot of gameplay and mission design issues I had with the fourth game which made it more fun, and less frustrating. I did feel the story and world was a bit less exotic than previous entries, but the creators had fun with it. I liked the flexibility of clearing the three areas in the game and thought the game committed to being an all out action shooter. Overall, it is a very entertaining game that has immensely enjoyable gameplay that more than makes up for its somewhat underwhelming storyline.
