“Castlevania” is an entertaining and short Netflix series that many have told me is a superb video game adaptation. I have never played these games, so I can only speak of the series alone. I liked the show and have been following it since it was brand new and I have always found myself binge-watching the newest season since then. The second season is my personal favorite as I think for how the show is usually paced, 8 episodes worked really well. I like this show primarily for the action scenes and the last two seasons do have a good amount of build-up before getting to the real exciting stuff. Nonetheless, the world-building and characters are always fascinating to watch and give real gravity to the action-packed fight scenes. Overall, I think this is a solid animated series with lots of fun episodes that is very welcoming to newcomers in the universe as myself.
