“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is a pretty solid show overall. I have no ties to any previous versions of “Sabrina: The Teenage Witch,” so I went into this series fairly unfamiliar with the characters. This show has a nice amount of horror elements that are creepy but not insanely terrifying either. I also think this series is a great showcase of Kiernan Shipka as an actress and her performance is what makes the show watchable in its weaker episodes and seasons. I think the strongest season of the series was the second and the weakest was the third. The show does try to do different things at times, but it is pretty hit or miss. I also think the show suffers from being canceled prematurely and having a pretty lackluster ending as a result. I actually really do hope they allow at least a finale episode to come about because as it stands I do not particularly like how the series ends. Overall, this is a fun series that is a great choice to watch around Halloween.
