“Messiah” has enough interesting ideas and a unique premise to make it worth watching. The show does have some inconsistent pacing and suffers from being canceled prematurely. I think the ending of this season is ambiguous and works in its own way but it was clear they intended to make future seasons to develop the story. Overall, the show poses some interesting questions and delivers a solid story in which some episodes shine. This show is an interesting spot because if there was another season, I would have checked it out, but at the same time, I don’t necessarily love it so much to where I absolutely need one.
