“The Good Place” is one of those rare comedies that actually requires the viewer to watch the whole thing in sequential order. This show is endlessly innovative and features fun characters. The show is consistently funny and shines primarily in the first two seasons. I think the show is a lot shorter than many others but benefits from it since it is more focused on storytelling. I found myself surprised by every season and every turn the story took. The show also features many profound themes and ideas to think about hidden beneath the comedy which is an admirable approach to this type of show. Overall, this is a fun and addictive series that is worth checking out.
