13 Reasons Why

If “13 Reasons Why” ended after just one season, I might have even considered it a great show among some of the best television series I have seen. Even though the first season was fairly polarizing upon its release a few years ago, I remember being among the group of people who appreciated what the show was trying to do. However, as it stands, the show went on for three more seasons, and well, the quality spiraled downward, and fast. I never think this is a particularly bad show, but after the first season, its pointless, at times boring, and frequently illogical. I think it’s bold that this show genuinely tries to cover so many issues, but it feels overstuffed and lacks focus for a majority of it. The writing and acting are also not always great in the later seasons and sometimes that’s why I enjoyed it, with a so bad its good mentality. Overall, I recommend people to watch the first season of this show without a doubt, but the rest of it is pretty hit or miss, despite it being a well-intentioned showcase of various issues.

3.5/5 STARS
