BoJack Horseman

Few shows balance comedy and drama as brilliantly as “BoJack Horseman.” I started watching this show when there were four seasons available, and I breezed through it. Recently the show ended with its sixth and final season and overall, I thought the show had as good of an ending as it could have. This show is just so unique compared to any other newer animated series. The show made me laugh a lot but also had some devastatingly heartbreaking moments. I did feel the first season was the weakest, but I can’t say any of it is bad television. The show really hit its stride in seasons 3 and 4 and wraps up with truly bittersweet final episodes. I also really enjoyed the characters in the show and feel they are given deep layers and complex personalities and are allowed to grow and make mistakes throughout. If you haven’t already watched this brilliant series, it is truly one of Netflix’s finest offerings. It’s one of a kind.

4.5/5 STARS
