“Unbelievable” is a frustrating show, but that’s why it is so important for people to watch. The story presented had my interest from the moment it started until the end. I think the series had convincing and realistic performances across the board, but the particular standout was Kaitlyn Denver. Her character doesn’t necessarily have the most screen time, but her storyline is the heart of the message of this story. Her devastating and real performance elevate this show. Most of the series focuses on the investigative side of things, which is definitely interesting but at times did lose my interest. However, the show is inspired by a true story and it feels like everything in the show was meant to be there, so I can’t make a case for anything being cut out. Overall, it’s a well-made drama with a very important message that I think everyone should watch for that reason.
