Aziz Ansari has always been one of my favorite comedians. When I heard he had a new stand up special on the way after a hiatus from entertainment, I was overjoyed. This special is one of a kind. It’s very funny at times and very intimate and reflective as well. When I initially watched it I thought it was very solid, but after watching this special multiple times, I consider it to be one of the best I’ve ever seen. The topics Ansari covers are very relevant in 2019 and the jokes he says land almost every time. It truly makes me very happy to see him back in the comedy space again and as a long time fan of his, this special is his most personal and unique one to date. All in all, “Right Now” is a hilarious and personal comedy special that all of us could use in today’s day and age.
