“Brown and Friendly” is an okay stand up special that while not always hilarious, is consistently amusing and fun. I think if you’ve never seen Maz Jobrani perform, this older comedy special does show his potential to tell funny stories. It’s good enough to make me want to check out what he does in the future, but it’s not among the best comedy specials I’ve seen, simply because some of the jokes aren’t as hard-hitting as they could be.
