Insomniac’s “Spider-Man” is one of the most entertaining games I have ever played. The open world the game creates really immersed me and I felt there was always something to do. Traveling around is a blast and I never had any interest fast traveling there because swinging around was always the more fun option. I will say that some of the stealth-based missions when I had to play as characters that weren’t Spider-Man were a bit of a chore at times, but it also worked as a nice change of pace at times. As a long time fan of the character, this game was everything I wanted it to be. It has phenomenal gameplay and a great storyline. Overall it is an immensely entertaining game that is visually impressive and a ton of fun. It’s a must own for anyone who has a PS4.
