“Narcos” is a stunning series that kept me engrossed through all three seasons. I am excited about the upcoming “Narcos: Mexico” series that I am fully expecting to be just as high quality as this one. The first two seasons explore the life of Pablo Escobar and he is portrayed phenomenally by Wagner Mora. I am doubtful that any actor will ever be able to portray Escobar as brilliantly as he did in the first two seasons of this series. Before the third season was released, I was skeptical if the show would maintain its quality without him but I was surprised when the third season was just as good. Pedro Pascal is the other standout in the series as he carries the weight in the final season. I think the first season is the weakest but I still think it is very well-made and the show definitely has a sharp incline in quality once season two kicks in. Overall, this is an outstanding franchise that thankfully will be able to continue telling compelling stories via a new spin-off series that is to release later this month.
