There is no denying that “Maniac” is an immensely creative limited series. While not every episode landed with me execution-wise, I found myself interested to see where the story went and analyzing what each situation meant. The premise is very original and that’s the shows biggest selling point. I also thoroughly enjoyed both Emma Stone and Jonah Hill’s performances and thought they worked well together. It is a pretty bizarre show, and it’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re looking for something that’s unique and makes you think, this is a solid choice.
