Just like the first entry in this rebooted franchise, this game is awesome. It is consistently fast paced and the story is a lot of fun. It may be a pretty typical treasure hunt type story but it is so cinematic and engaging that it feels fresh. I think the game is less gritty than the first, which makes sense considering how that game is how Lara Croft became a hardened warrior and this game is just the follow up. It does leave room for future installments, so I am hopeful that they keep making these games. I have loved both of the first two and and looking forward to what’s in store for the future.
