The game lacks a story that really progresses much. You also don’t really get to play as Chief much, which feels a bit upsetting. The game also gets rid of the co op mode, which is something I’ve always loved about the Halo series. The game has somewhat of a next gen feel, but nothing really stands out. I think the best thing it delivers is a fun campaign that is definitely entertaining, even though it isn’t all that compelling. Hoping they can do a slightly better job with the next one, since I hold Halo to a high standard.
